My 3rd Family

This picture was taken on December 3rd at the First Federal Christmas Party. These ladies are the ladies that work at my branch in Jerome. Left to Right: Jerrine, Jackie, Rosa, Jana, Me & Teena.
I wanted to share this picture, because these ladies are some of my best friends, and I spend more time with them than I do my own family! Thanks to work!!
Don't be alarmed...all the alcoholic beverages belong to the husbands of these ladies...they aren't mine!! I know what you all were thinking....
The Christmas Party was great, we had dinner, and there was a band, dancing and raffles.
Anyhow... I hope you all have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!
I love and miss you all!!

Sappy

I must be feeling really "sappy" lately. If you know what I mean. The reason I say this...take a look at my playlist... I think there is only like 2 upbeat songs on there! The rest are sappy, depressed, or mushy love songs. ICK! Whats wrong with me you ask? Heck if I know....just wanted to apologize to all of you who listen to my sappy depressed mushy love music when you read my blog. Press mute! :)

My Dearest Friend Kate....

So....I have just recently acquired a new friend. This friend thinks she quite humorous.... I have been so lucky....to be the culprit of her latest fun filled activity.

Here is the story..

So this morning, I am going about my usual day at work, nothing to exciting, just thrilled to be at work and excited to meet & greet any customer that will be coming in. My interoffice mail was delivered around approximately 10:30 a.m. As I was going through my envelopes, I noticed something interesting, see picture below:

So you see, its just a normal interoffice envelope, To Camille...From Kate. I'm thinking what in the world is she sending me? She didn't tell me she was sending anything.... Much to my surprise.....this is what I received....from my dearest friend Kate....

YUP....YOU ARE SEEING CORRECTLY....SHE SENT ME A PREGNANCY TEST!!!

Apparently, now that we are moving into a new house...Kate thinks its baby time....or...because I have baby fever...she thinks its funny to send me tests....just in case. She even offered to take a test with me...in case I was scared! I just love my new friend!!! Isn't she great!!??!

Meet Lucy the Baby

This is our little neice Lucy. She is 1 year and some months old...can't remember. :( We got to spend Saturday afternoon with her, it was so much fun. Totally didn't help my baby fever...but we got some cute pictures. Lucy the dog really likes her...I think its because she doesn't grab her and pull her hair. So cute...she just snuggles right up next to her.

Lucy likes the camera. Ryan had just got done giving her some dinner...as you can see...the obvious signs of food face. She has the prettiest blue eyes!! Her sister Emma has really pretty eyes as well.

Nap time...apparently we were all a little tuckered out!!

This picture is so funny. You can see Lucy's tongue trying to give Lucy a kiss. Have I confused you yet.....with the names... :)

Good news... We have found a house that we want to buy!! We are going to put in an offer today and see if they accept. As soon as we get a home and get moved in...Its baby time!!!
Happy Monday!!

No Craft Fair...

First things first....we got a new camera...and I just LOVE this picture of Lucy. Cracks me up! She's so cute! She has the look "I didn't do it I swear!"
Now for official business:
So....I will not be attending the craft fair this weekend....just in case any of you were DYING to come see me!!

My excuse for backing out....
Ryan and I have been approved for a home loan, and so we are house hunting this weekend!!!!!! YAY! I feel bad for the poor RE Agent that gets to show us around...we get excited about the dumbest stuff...let me list them...for all you that are dying to know...
1. Like a dishwasher for instance...we haven't had a dishwasher since we've rented this little home...2 years now. I was afraid my hands were going to be permanently wrinkled from all that dish washing.

2. OH...and more than one bathroom!! We've been working with only ONE bathroom...let me tell you...that just doesn't work out. Especially when its the size of a closet!!

3. And....we won't have to run our dish network cable through the window anymore....the house will actually be wired for tv!

4. The power won't trip the main breaker everytime we turn the microwave on. Talk about a pain in the rear... Really ruins a perfectly good bag of popcorn...let me tell ya.

5. The garage will actually be attached to the house! No more running 10 miles from the back door to the garage to carry in groceries.

6. Ok...I think thats all...if I think of more...you can bet I'll be listing them. I don't want to forget how wondering owning our own home is going to be!!!!!!!!!!
I told you I would be back for more...
7. NO MORE UNEVEN FLOORS!!! I feel like I'm walking on a rollercoaster in my own house! Old houses have the most crappy floors ever. I have been thanking my lucky stars every day that I have came home and not found my floor caved in...
8. Mice....no more stupid mice!! I hate mice!! They crawl in Lucy's bowl and steal her food!! So NOT nice!!
9. Hmmm....normal heating units...like a furnace! And not electric heaters that heat up the wall and the window and thats it.
10. CARPET!! I can't stand hardwood floors...all they do is collect dust and it takes double the time to sweep than it does to vaccuum.
Phew.......need I complain about my renter's phobia anymore??? You get the idea... :O)

No Room at the Inn

I have just recently been called to serve as the Beehive Advisor in Young Womens. So far it has been so much fun. Last night we had a pretty fun activity, and so I thought I would share!
Keep in mind the story of Mary & Joseph.
We took the girls out to 4 different homes with plates of goodies. The first house we stopped at the girls got out and went up to the door with their treats. We started to sing, and out came a little old lady from our ward. She immediately interupted us and said, "I'm sorry, I thought you were my company, we are headed out to the movies, you'll have to come back another time when I can invite you in for hot chocolate." Not thinking much about it, we gathered back into our cars.
Off we went to the 2nd house. Once again, we went to the door. Sister Gibson answered and she was on the phone. The girls asked if they could sing to her and she replied, "I'm sorry, do you mind if I say no? I am on the phone with a very important friend." She must have noticed the look of discouragement on the girls faces, because she then said, "Ok, sing really fast." So we sang We Wish You a Merry Christmas as fast as we could, losing all of the spirit, and took off.
Next, the 3rd house, home of Sister Brooks. She had her porch light on, surely she knew we were coming to sing to her. Excited, the girls ran up and knocked on the door. The next thing they knew, Sister Brooks was peering out her window at them, and then turning off her porch light, leaving them all standing in the dark. I don't think I have ever heard such disappointment. Why didn't she want them to sing to her? Don't they like the Young Women? What did we do?
Finally, Beth, the MiaMaid Advisor, said, "Lets go to my house, surely my husband and kids will let you in to sing!" Sure enough, we traveled over to Beths house, and her husband let us in.
All the girls gathered in Beths living room and once they were all sitting down, we talked about how they felt about the way their caroling activity went. Obviously, they were all a little upset. Then...the door bell rang, and in came the 3 little ladies that had shut them out. Once they came in, the girls finally figured out what was going on.
We had a nice lesson about Mary and Joseph and the discouragement that they must have felt while trying to find a place to stay. We talked about remembering to make a place for Jesus, and Heavenly Father in our lives, and to remember the real reason for Christmas.
There is an "Inn" crowd, and there is a "Stable" crowd. Which crowd are you apart of?

Wow...so I get to tell you 7 interesting/unique things about myself....

1. I love to sew! I'm crazy about it. Wierd...I know...old ladyish...I know, but....its the best thing in the world to create something so unique and give it to someone else!! I have just started my own business making handbags/wallets/clutches, and much more. So far its going very well!

2. I am a total clean freak. We don't have a dishwasher in the house we are renting right now. I totally hate it! If there are dishes in the sink before I go to bed...you can bet they are washed up and put away before I go to bed. I hate dirty dishes in the sink...they stink!!! Anytime we go out of town, the house has to be totally spotless before we leave. If we come back from vacation to a messy home...I get very overwhelmed and upset! Vacation can be tiring and to come home to a dirty house is just more work adding up!

3. I love my job...who the heck loves their job? Not very many people! That is wierd! I work with a group of people, and all of them are like family to me. I have been in banking for 6 years now, and my knowledge has grown so much. I love it!

4. My little lucy dog has to sleep in the bed with us! I can't make her sleep at the end of the bed...she'll get cold!! And I'll get cold too!! She is my little snuggle bug...sorry Ryan.. :) She also has to have a bath once a week so she is clean and soft!

5. I cannot stand clutter...which makes me a total hypocrite, because my spare bedroom is nothing but clutter...thanks to the purse business. But...I can't stand it. Its like I see it and it freaks me out because its just a big mess. Like an overwhelming project that just can't be completed. AAHH!!!! I have to just keep walking and not even look in the room. We're totally getting a storage shed soon...

6. What the heck is it with people who think they are so cool that they have to drive 15 miles an hour in a 25 mile an hour zone?? Come on!!! Don't they know I only have 1 hour for lunch! Seriously...no one wants to stare at you or your car as your driving...so pick it up.... ugh..hate that.

7. Ryan and I spend every night reading an article from the Ensign or scriptures before we go to bed. It keeps us both reading and helps us to be doing the things we should! I love it! Its so great.

Ok...I'm done....I guess I will tag.....Shawna and Rachel! I don't know 7 more blogs that haven't already been tagged!! :)
